Aug 12 (Reuters) -Nordic forward power prices hit a two-week high on Monday as water levels in the hydropower-reliant region eased, while support also came from higher rates across the German power market.

* The Nordic front-quarter power contract ENOFBLQc1 rose 2.2 euros to 46.5 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) at 1233 GMT.

* The Nordic front-year contract ENOFBLYc1 gained 0.85 euro to 43.05 euros.

* Both the contracts hit their highest since July 29.

* Nordic water reserves available 15 days ahead PCAEC00 were seen at 2.30 terawatt hours (TWh) above normal, compared with 4.33 TWh above normal on Friday.

* "I think rising German market and the higher-than-expected Nordic spot price for Tuesday are the main factors pushing up the market today," said Ole Tom Djupskaas, a power analyst at Refinitiv.

* "We expect higher-than-normal precipitation amounts ahead and we expect the hydro situation to be at 2 TWh above normal two weeks from now."

* Germany's Cal'25 baseload TRDEBYc1, Europe's benchmark contract, gained 3.15 euros to 101.50 euros/MWh.

* Carbon front-year allowances CFI2Zc1 rose 3.5 euro to 73.62 euros a tonne.

* Meanwhile, Dutch wholesale gas prices inched up on Monday morning amid concerns about gas supplies via Ukraine, while British prices rose due to outages in the UK Continental Shelf. NG/EU

* "A westerly flow pattern will establish over northern Europe and will dominate weather in Scandinavia through the remainder of August" which will bring "unsettled weather with rain or showers, especially in the western and southern parts" Georg Muller, a meteorologist at LSEG, said in a note.

* "Amounts will be near or above normal."

* The Nordic power price for next-day physical delivery FXSYSAL=NPX, or system price, rose 13.08 euros, or 74.1%, to 30.73 euros per megawatt hour (MWh).
