The Dow and the S&P 500 struggled for direction on Friday as investors assessed mixed payrolls data for cues on the Federal Reserve's pace of policy easing, while gains in megacap tech stocks lifted the Nasdaq. .N
At 11:57 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.05% at 39,329.48. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.34% at 5,555.8 and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.79% at 18,332.685.
