UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 30
April 30 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 unchanged.
* HSBC: HSBC HSBA.L said Chief Executive Noel Quinn will retire, a surprise departure from the Asia-focused bank he has overhauled through a sweeping series of asset sales across the globe.
* BARCLAYS: Goldman Sachs GS.N is in talks to transfer its General Motors GM.N credit-card program to Barclays BARC.L, the Wall Street Journal reported.
* SHELL: Nigeria's oil regulator commenced the evaluation of the divestment processes of Shell's 75-year-old onshore assets to Renaissance company, the new investors.
* FRASERS: Frasers Group FRAS.L said it has reached a deal with the administrators of the collapsed online clothing platform MATCHES to acquire certain intellectual property (IP) assets.
* PRICES: Prices in British shops rose at the slowest pace in more than two years this month, the British Retail Consortium said.
* PRICES: British companies increasingly plan to raise prices in the coming months, although expectations for pay rises cooled in April, a business survey showed.
* OIL: Oil edged down in early trade after Israel-Hamas ceasefire talks in Cairo helped quell market fears of an expanded conflict in the Middle East, while worries about the outlook for U.S. interest rates weighed on the market.
* METALS: Zinc prices in London were set for the best monthly gain since 2006, driven by tightness of supply and funds buying into the base metals sector.
* FTSE: Britain's FTSE 100 extended its record rally for the fifth straight session on Monday, helped by positive corporate updates, while a stronger pound boosted midcaps.
