POLITICS
Italy's government adopted a decree aimed at boosting procurement and reuse of critical raw materials, Industry Minister Adolfo Urso said on Thursday, including simpler permitting procedures for the release of mining concessions.
Eurogroup president Pascal Donohoe said on Thursday it was important that EU governments' commitments were fulfilled, after being asked how concerned he was that France and Italy might not comply with a prescribed spending reduction.
Singapore-based semiconductor firm Silicon Box plans to pick the town of Novara in the industrialised northwest Piedmont region as the location for its new multibillion-euro chip factory in Italy, two people close to the matter told Reuters on Thursday.

A decision on a lawsuit brought by Greenpeace and ReCommon against Italy's Eni for contributing to climate change with its fossil fuel businesses will be delayed beyond September, the energy group said on Thursday.

The Innovation Trust said on Friday it had completed the placement through accelerated book building (ABB) of about 6.8% of the cosmetic firm's share capital, for 15.2 euros per share.
