Italy, which holds the rotating presidency of the Group of Seven major democracies (G7), is open to new sanctions against individuals engaged against Israel following the weekend Iranian drone and missile attack, its foreign minister told Reuters on Monday.

The Italian energy group aims to sell by year-end minority stakes in its biofuel and bio-plastic units that could fetch around 1.3 billion euros in total to speed up its energy transition, three sources told Reuters on Monday.

Its Alfa Romeo brand said on Monday it would change the name of its new "Milano" small SUV to "Junior" to end a row with Italy's government, which last week criticised the choice of an Italian name for a vehicle made in Poland.

Activist investor Bluebell Capital Partners doesn't want to stop the sale of TIM's domestic fixed line network and believes the company should focus on returning to cash generation without selling other assets, Paola Giannotti, Bluebell's candidate for the chairmanship of the Italian phone group, was quoted as saying by Il Sole 24 Ore on Tuesday.
