W. Africa Crude-Nigerian differentials edge lower
LONDON, Sept 27 (Reuters) -Nigerian crude oil differentials edged lower on Friday, as the West African crude market grapples with strong supply and lacklustre refinery demand.
* Offer levels for Nigerian Bonny Light and Qua Iboe crudes have fallen slightly below where they were heard earlier this week according to one trader.
* Offers were previously heard at around dated Brent plus $1.80 and plus $2.00 for those two grades respectively.
* Around 20 cargoes from Nigeria's October loading programme remain unsold, a trade source said.
* Ample supply and narrow refining margins have been weighing on differentials, traders have said.
* Just two Angolan October cargoes remain unsold, a source added.
* Earlier this week, Sonangol sold a November cargo of Kissanje crude that was offered at dated Brent plus 30 cents, and a Pazflor cargo that was offered at dated Brent minus 30 cents, a trader said.
* Sonangol was still thought to be offering a November-loading Clov cargo at dated Brent plus $1.70 and a November Olombendo cargo at dated Brent plus $1.60.
