LONDON, Oct 16 (Reuters) -North Sea Forties crude differentials fell to a discount to benchmark dated Brent on Wednesday, while Ekofisk traded in line with previous offer levels in the Platts window.

PLATTS WINDOW

* Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless marked as cost, insurance, and freight (CIF) or delivered at place (DAP).

* Forties: Glencore bought a cargo loading Nov. 10-12 from Shell at dated Brent minus 5 cents.

* On Tuesday, Glencore offered a Forties cargo loading Nov. 13-15 at dated Brent plus 46 cents.

* Ekofisk: Equinor bought a cargo with Oct. 31 - Nov. 4 dates from BP at dated Brent plus $1.55 CIF Rotterdam.

* The deal level equated to around dated plus 77 cents on a FOB basis, according to Reuters calculations.

* On Tuesday BP offered the same cargo at the same level, but no buyers had stepped forward to lift the offer.

* Several other offers for Forties and Ekofisk were withdrawn in the window on Wednesday, at levels higher than where the trades occurred. BP, Glencore, and TotalEnergies were all offering.

* WTI Midland: No indications.

* Forties therefore becomes the cheapest grade and sets the dated Brent value.
