XM does not provide services to residents of the United States of America.

Which documents do I need to provide to become an XM client?

When opening an XM account, we only ask that you provide 2 documents:

A Proof of Identity (POI) – a colour copy of any official documentation issued by a recognised authority. This includes passports (to be valid for at least 6 months), driver’s licenses, and identity cards. The document must include your full name, issue and expiry dates, your date and place of birth or tax identification number, and your signature

A Proof of Residence (POR) – a copy of a recent utility bill (electricity, gas, oil, water, phone, internet, or cable television), or bank account statement (dated within the last 6 months)
