REAL ESTATE TOUR: WARMING UP TO OFFICES

J.P.Morgan has been on an investor tour over the past month to talk about real estate, finding out that some clients were looking back at the sector after a years-long hiatus.

Larger-cap players took centre stage, with office properties sparking a surprising amount of questions - and not all of them were bearish, according to the U.S. bank.

"Numerous return-to-office updates in recent months, (are) leaving some to query whether it is time to rotate," they said.

On the other hand questions are emerging over whether we have reached peak optimism on data centres.

"It felt like investors were warming up to offices with several discussions taking place around rotation and, while self-storage appears to be firmly on the radar, we sensed some fatigue in the EMEA Data Centre story".
