INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI
Italy's biggest bank Intesa Sanpaolo on Thursday promised to add a sizeable share buyback to dividend payments over 2024 results, after it beat expectations with its third quarter profit and upgraded its guidance for next year.
Fitch said on Thursday it had revised its outlook on Intesa to 'positive' from 'stable' and confirmed its long-term rating at 'BBB'.

The TV group controlled by Italy's Berlusconi family, expects any potential tie-up with German rival ProSiebenSat.1 PSMGn.DE to add more than 200 million euros ($217 million) a year to operating profit, a source with knowledge of the matter said.
UNICREDIT CRDI.MI
Fitch said on Thursday it had upgraded its long-term IDR and senior preferred rating on the Italian bank to 'BBB+', and changed the outlook to 'positive' from 'stable'. Unicredit's rating is now one notch above Italian sovereign rating, it said.

Fitch said on Thursday it had upgraded its outlook on the Italian lender to 'positive' from 'stable' and confirmed its long-term rating at 'BBB'.

Gas storage has reached 98.5% of total capacity, exceeding 12 billion cubic meters (bcm), the group's CEO Stefano Venier told Italian daily Il Sole 24 Ore in an interview published on Friday.
If strategic reserves are taken into account, the total gas amount reaches 16.5 bcm, slightly higher than a year ago, he added.
