** State-owned refiner posted a consolidated net loss of 6.97 bln rupees ($83 mln) vs a profit of 10.52 bln rupees an year ago
** Co hurt by a 44% jump in cost of raw materials consumed, as the quarter saw a surge in crude oil and natural gas price
** More than 2.3 mln shares change hands, 1.3x its 30-day avg
** Stock down 13% so far this month
