US Cash Grains-Corn, soybean basis bids flat-down at river terminals
CHICAGO, Aug 15 (Reuters) -Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were steady to weak at U.S. river terminals on Thursday as a second day of small gains in soy futures encouraged farmer selling, brokers said.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures Sv1 extended a recovery after sinking to a four-year low early on Wednesday. Gains in corn futures on Wednesday also boosted farmer selling, a broker said, though prices pulled back on Thursday.GRA/
* Rain is expected to benefit most of the U.S. Corn Belt over the next week, forecasters said.
* One river terminal in Illinois lowered its soybean basis bid, with another cut its corn basis bid.
* The U.S. soybean crush rebounded in July to the highest ever for the seventh month of the year, according to National Oilseed Processors Association data.
