UNICREDIT CRDI.MI
The bank said on Monday it was "well above" MREL requirements set by the Single Resolution Board (SRB) and the Bank of Italy, with MREL eligible liabilities equal to 32.8% of risk-weighed assets (RWA) in Q1, versus a requirement of 27.3%.
FINCANTIERI FCT.MI
The shipbuilder's shares closed down 1.74% on Monday after its chairman Claudio Graziano was found dead.
(*) CEO Pierroberto Folgiero will assume some of the chairman's powers until a new chairman is appointed, the company's board decided on Monday.

Norwegian unit Vaar Energi has extended by 12 years a long-term pact to supply natural gas to Germany's VNG, the firm said on Tuesday.

The defence and aerospace group's shares closed up 2.88% on Monday after announcing it had won 13 European Defence Fund (EDF) programmes in consortium with others.
BPER BANCA EMII.MI
Morningstar DBRS lifted on Monday its trend on the lender to "positive" from "stable", and confirmed its long-term issuer rating at "BBB".

Among the possible partners for Azimut's new fintech bank are UniCredit and Spain's BBVA BBVA.MC, which is interested in entering the Italian wealth management sector, Il Sole 24 ore reported on Monday.
M&A, ITA AIRWAYS
Lufthansa LHAG.DE boosted concessions to soothe competition concerns over long-haul flights to help it win over EU regulators in its bid for a stake in Italy's ITA Airways, three people with direct knowledge of the matter said on Monday.
