The Treasury will sell at auction on Thursday five BTP bonds for a total value of up to 8.5 billion euros.

Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's government is staying out of the bank's challenge before the European Court of Justice against an order by the European Central Bank (ECB) to complete its exit from Russia, a senior government source told Reuters.

Italy's market regulator Consob approved late on Wednesday the mandatory tender offer document of the tender by Vitol on all ordinary shares of the oil refiner, a statement by Sara, on behalf of Vitol's subsidiary Varas, said.

Advertising spending in Italy rose 3.8% year-on-year in May, research agency Nielsen said on Wednesday.

JUVENTUS JUVE.MI
The Turin-based soccer club said on Wednesday it bought French midfielder Khephren Thuram from OGC Nice for 20.6 million euros, and given him a five-year contract. Thuram's brother Marcus plays for Inter Milan, and their father Lilian was a player for Juve in the 2000s.

The Rome-based soccer club announced on Wednesday the disposal of Luis Alberto to Qatari's Al Duhail for 10.5 million euros among other player trade operations.
