** British power supplier Octopus Energy has entered the U.S. renewables market for the first time with the acquisition of two solar energy farms. nL8N3IG114
** The Spanish government could set additional conditions on BBVA's BBVA.MC 12-billion-euro ($12.85 billion) takeover bid for smaller rival Sabadell SABE.MC, the head of the country's antitrust watchdog said. nL8N3IG0JS
** Boston Scientific BSX.N will buy Silk Road Medical SILK.O in a $1.16 billion deal, the company said, adding medical devices used for stroke prevention. nL4N3IG0V0
** Johnson Controls International JCI.N said it would sell its air distribution business, which makes heating and air-conditioning components, to private equity firm Truelink Capital. nL4N3IG0XK
** Hargreaves Lansdown HRGV.L confirmed that it received a 5.41 billion pounds ($6.87 billion) proposal from a CVC-led consortium and is extending the deadline to make a firm offer for British investment platform by a month. nL4N3IG10C
** Vodafone Group VOD.L will sell about 10% stake in India's Indus Towers INUS.NS for as much as $1.1 billion on Wednesday, per a term sheet seen by Reuters, as a part of the British firm's efforts to repay debt. nL4N3IG0XS
** Shell SHEL.L has agreed to buy Singaporean liquefied natural gas (LNG) company Pavilion Energy from global investment company Temasek in a move the oil major said will strengthen its leadership position in LNG, according to statements. nL1N3IG068
** TA Associates is preparing to put Netrisk Group, one of Hungary's largest price comparison companies, up for sale, three people familiar with the matter told Reuters. nL8N3IF0VY
** South African insurer Sanlam SLMJ.J will buy a 60% stake in MultiChoice's MCGJ.J insurance business for 1.2 billion rand ($66 million) in cash upfront and a potential performance-based earn-out of up to 1.5 billion rand, the groups said. nL1N3IG07M
** Blackstone BX.N launched a 275.8 billion yen ($1.74 billion) bid to take Japanese digital comic distributor Infocom 4348.T private, including a tender offer for a per-share price of 6,060 yen, Infocom said. nL1N3IG02K
** French industrial group Seche Environnement CCHE.PA has agreed to buy Singapore's ECO Industrial Environmental Engineering for around S$605 million ($447.4 million), according to a statement by the company dated Monday. nL1N3IF0LE
