- Higher interest rates helped to drive a near-doubling of revenues at Revolut to 1.8 billion pounds ($2.28 billion) last year and pushed profits at the fast-growing financial technology company to record levels.
- A planned strike next week by workers at the Port Talbot steel plant owned by Tata Steel TISC.NS has been suspended, amid union hopes of talks over future investment at the site in south Wales.

- Thames Water has been urged to show greater transparency over its finances after it emerged its board had approved a 150 million pounds dividend hours before its shareholders U-turned on providing emergency funding.
- The shipbuilder Harland & Wolff HARL.L has been forced to temporarily suspend trading in its shares after accounting issues meant it was unable to file audited accounts on time.

- Royal Mail has been criticised by the postal minister for failing to deliver votes in time and postal vote delays across the country have forced it to scramble to ensure that ballots are counted in time for the general election.
- The future of a major British aerospace plant is in doubt with up to 2,400 jobs at risk following a carve-up of owner Spirit AeroSystems SPR.N between Boeing BA.N and Airbus AIR.PA.

- The personal wealth of Preqin's founder will top that of BlackRock's BLK.N Larry Fink when the deal, which will expand the fund giant's private-markets interests, completes.
