UK Stocks-Factors to watch on July 9

July 9 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat onTuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.02%.
* SHELL: ShellSHEL.L is seeking government permission authorities todrill up to five offshore wells off the west coast of South Africa, a draft scoping report from environmental consultancy SLR showed.
* BP: BPBP.L expects lower realised refining margins and a weak oil trading tohurt its second-quarter earnings, it said.
* VODAFONE: MetaMETA.O has worked with VodafoneVOD.L tofree up capacity on 11 of its European mobile networks by optimising the delivery of short-form video.
* THAMES WATER: Thames Water, Britain's biggest water supplier, said its efforts to raise newequity to ensure its survival continued but there would be no conclusion until the regulator made a final decision on how much it could raise bills for the next five years.
* VISTRY: British housebuilder VistryVTYV.L said it expects half-year profit toincrease by about 7%, buoyed by resilient demand for its affordable homes from housing associations and the rental segment.
* INDIVIOR: Drugmaker IndiviorINDV.L said it wouldcut about 130 jobs after lowering its profit forecast for the year due to unfavourable market conditions, adding it would discontinue the sale of schizophrenia drug Perseris.
* PAGEGROUP: British recruiter PageGroupPAGE.L warned oflower annual profit, citing weaker-than-expected hiring in June and a more cautious view for second half.
* WIZZ AIR: Wizz AirWIZZ.L expects furtherdelays in deliveries of AirbusAIR.PA planes, its CEO told Reuters.
* SSE: British power generator and network operator SSESSE.L said it wasgoing ahead, along with its JV partner, with the development of a 2 gigawatt offshore wind farm in the Netherlands.
