** Asahi Group 2502.T plans to sell its struggling restaurant business, Nadaman, to a Japanese peer as the country's biggest brewer looks to exit the segment to focus on alcoholic and other beverages, Nikkei reported. nL4N3JH2JH
** Indian drugmaker Mankind Pharma MNKI.NS said it would acquire Bharat Serums and Vaccines Ltd in a deal valued at around 136.30 billion rupees ($1.63 billion), including debt. nL4N3JH2D0
** Oilfield services firm Helmerich & Payne Inc HP.N will acquire Britain's KCA Deutag International for $1.97 billion in cash, making the combined company one of the biggest rig providers in the Middle East, the companies said. nL4N3JH1GQ]
