We’ve recently donated to the Free Food For All (FFFA) program called Hydroponics Vegetable Distribution which aims to provide nutritious food to vulnerable local families and help reduce food wastage.
FFFA was established in 2014 to distribute food to those who need it the most and soon expanded across local communities in Singapore. It now focuses on food security, improving nutrition, promoting sustainable agriculture, and ultimately, ending hunger.
Their Hydroponics Vegetable Distribution Program was designed to meet the immediate needs of the most vulnerable in the community who have little to no access to food. It also encourages small-scale producers and farmers to contribute to the good cause and offer their produce, keeping the local trade going. The FFFA target single-parent families, grandparents who aren’t working and need to support their grandchildren, people with special needs or living with illnesses, and families with incarcerated family members.
We’ve donated to the initiative to help the FFFA’s efforts to provide access to fresh produce sourced from the local farmers in Singapore. It’s just one of many contributions we’ve made across the globe where people less well-off can benefit.
