UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Nov 25

Nov 25 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Monday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.16%.
* ANGLO AMERICAN: Anglo AmericanAAL.L agreed tosell its Australian steelmaking coal mines to Peabody EnergyBTU.N for a cash consideration of up to $3.78 billion, in its first major disposal as part of a wider restructuring plan.
* KINGFISHER: European home improvement retailer KingfisherKGF.L lowered the top end of its annual profit outlook as it reported a 1.1%fall in underlying sales for its third quarter, reflecting a weak market and consumer in the UK and France in October.
* RENTOKIL: British pest control firm Rentokil InitialRTO.L said that its newchief financial officer (CFO) would be Paul Edgecliffe-Johnson, the former finance chief of gambling group Flutter EntertainmentFLTRF.L.
* BP: Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras PETR4.SA is in talks with Raizen RAIZ4.SA and Inpasa, as well as Britain's BP BP.L for a potential partnership in the ethanol segment, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters on Friday.
* ASDA: Struggling British supermarket Asda said on Saturday veteran retailer Allan Leighton would return as executive chairman, more than two decades after he served as CEO when he turned around the business before selling it to Walmart WMT.N.
* UK ECONOMY: British employers have been caught off guard by a 25 billion pound tax rise at last month's budget and plan to cut training, investment and jobs in response, the Confederation of British Industry said before its annual conference on Monday.
* OIL: Oil prices retreated following 6% gains last week.
* GOLD: Gold's five-day rally pauses due to some profit-taking and Trump's pick of Scott Bessent as U.S. Treasury secretary.
