Nov 19 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.45%.


* IMPERIAL BRANDS: Cigarette maker Imperial Brands IMB.L reported forecast-beating operating profit and said it expected another strong performance next year, as revenues from smoking alternatives soared 26%.

* GSK: British drugmaker GSK GSK.L said its experimental therapy, linerixibat, met its main goal in a late-stage trial to treat patients with a so-called relentless itch associated with a rare autoimmune liver disease.

* INFORMA: Informa INF.L, the UK events and academic publishing group, posted a 10.7% revenue growth in the first 10 months of this year, and reiterated its annual outlook, partly buoyed by strength in its live events businesses.

* MULBERRY: Mulberry Group MUL.L said it will streamline operations after the British luxury brand's revenue fell 19% in the first half of the year, partly hurt by low consumer confidence in the UK, its biggest market.

* AQUIS EXCHANGE: The chairman of Aquis Exchange plc AQX.L is leaving the company less than two weeks after the group unveiled a recommended cash offer from rival exchange operator SIX Group, Aquis said.

* THAMES WATER: Britain's Thames Water said on Monday that creditors of its Class A debt approved a proposal to let it use about 400 million pounds ($505.9million) of cash from its reserve accounts, providing a cash runway to February 2025.

* OIL: Oil prices retreated on Tuesday after the previous day's rally, driven by halted production at Norway's Johan Sverdrup oilfield, but investors remained cautious amid fears of a potential escalation in the Russia-Ukraine war.

* GOLD: Gold prices climbed to a one-week high.

METALS: Copper prices drifted higher.
