Merck climbs as lung therapy shows reduced risk of death in study

** Co says its FDA-approved drug, Winrevair, helped significantly reduce the risk of death in patients with a rare condition thatcauses high blood pressure in the lungs
** Merck plans to submit the study results to FDA for additional labeling considerations
** BMO Capital Markets says the decision could "help further accelerate an already impressive launch, providing incremental revenue and share upside"
** Including session's move, stock down 7.1% YTD
