STOCKS:
The benchmark BSE Sensex .BSESN was up 1.27% at 78,139, while the broader NSE index .NSEI rose 1.37% to 23,670 as financials rebounded from last session's sharp drop. .BO
RUPEE:
The Indian rupee INR=IN declined to its record low of 84.5025 versus the U.S. dollar as the greenback's post-U.S. election rally revived and as foreign investors continued to pull out of domestic equities and bonds. INR/
GOVERNMENT BONDS:
The benchmark 10-year bond IN067934G=CC was quoted at 99.59 rupees, with the yield up 1 basis point at 6.8463%, as traders await the debt auction result, which includes the benchmark bond. IN/
OVERNIGHT INDEX SWAPS:
The one-year overnight index swap rate INR1YMIBROIS=CC was up 1 basis point at 6.55%, while the five-year swap rate INR5YMIBROIS=CC rose 1 bp to 6.26%.
CALL MONEY:
India's overnight call money INROND= rate was at 6.80%, and the overnight TREPS rate INTREPTOT=TCCL was at 6.74%.
