Australian energy stocks drop on falling oil prices
** Australian energy stocks .AXEJ down as much as 1.5%, its worst intraday drop since Sept 11
** Oil prices dropped over 3% overnight following reports that Saudi Arabia may abandon its $100 price target and prepare to raise output with OPEC and its allies in December O/R
** Sector majors Woodside Energy WDS.AX and Santos STO.AX both down over 2%
** However, the sub-index is up 0.6% for the week, on track to record its third straight week of gains
** Sub-index has fallen 15.8% YTD, as of 0120 GMT
