US Cash Soymeal-Soymeal basis mostly steady on light trade
CHICAGO, Dec 18 (Reuters) -Spot basis offers for soymeal were mostly flat in the U.S. Midwest on Wednesday on a day of subdued demand, according to merchants.
* The soymeal basis rose at a truck terminal in Kansas City, Missouri as the location rolled over to the March contract.
* The basis fell at another truck terminal in Council Bluffs.
* CIF and FOB values were unchanged.
* Chicago Board of Trade January soymeal SMF25 settled down $7.70 at $279.50 per short ton, having hit life of contract lows for a second day in a row.
