US Cash Grains-Corn and soy basis mostly flat, crop weather looks benign
CHICAGO, Aug 15 (Reuters) -Spot basis bids for corn and soybeans were mostly unchanged at U.S. grain elevators and processors on Thursday.
* Crop weather continues to look benign, supporting expectations for record U.S. corn and soy yields, traders said.
* Six percent of the U.S. corn and soybean crops were suffering from some form of drought as of Tuesday, up one percentage point from a week earlier for each, according to U.S. Drought Monitor data.
* Chicago Board of Trade soybean futures finished flat while corn futures sagged. GRA/
