July 23 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.4%.


* COMPASS: British catering group Compass CPG.L raised its 2024 profit and revenue forecasts for the second time this year despite easing prices, after new businesses helped it beat third-quarter revenue expectations.

* SThree: British recruiter SThree Plc STEMS.L reported a 7% drop in its first-half net fees on Tuesday, amid sluggish hiring market conditions only partially offset by its cost-control measures.

* BEAZLEY: Insurer Beazley BEZG.L said it had no plans to alter itsguidance in the wake of Friday's global IT glitch, which crashed an estimated 8.5 million Windows-operated devices, crippling transport systems and impacting financial markets.

* OFCOM: Britain's communications regulator said it would review the annual licence fees that mobile network operators were charged for the use of three mobile spectrum bands, after BT BT.L earlier this year requested the move.

* SEVERN TRENT: British water company Severn TrentSVT.L said it was confident it wouldhalve its spills rate by 2030, at a time when the water industry is under close scrutiny over wastewater pollution and pipe leakages.

* BP: British oil and gas producer BP BP.L, Venezuela's state oil company PDVSA and Trinidad and Tobago's National Gas Company are speeding negotiations for a Venezuelan license to develop natural gas deposits in the Caribbean Sea, four people familiar with the matter said.

* OIL: Oil prices steadied after falling for the past two sessions, as investors remained cautious amid expectations of plentiful supplies and weak demand.

* METALS: Copper prices wereunder pressure amid growing concerns over the demand outlook in top consumer China after the latest policy pledges disappointed.
