PARIS, Nov 15 (Reuters) -The German spot power prices for Monday fell on Friday as wind generation in the region was expected to be higher next week, though power demand is also expected to rise.

The German contract TRDEBD3 was at 90 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh) at 1019 GMT, down 26.8% from the price paid for Friday delivery, LSEG data showed.

The equivalent French contract was untraded, LSEG data showed.

Wind power output is expected rise further on Monday following a surge this weekend in Germany and neighbouring countries, LSEG analyst Guro Marie Wyller said.

German wind power output is forecast at 30.4 gigawatts (GW) on Monday, jumping 16.9 GW from Friday, while French output is expected to rise 6.3 GW to 8.3 GW, LSEG data showed.

German solar power supply is forecast to dip 270 megawatts (MW) to 2.5 GW on Monday.

LSEG analysis showed wind power supply is forecast to fall back but stay elevated next week, reaching a peak around 40 GW on Wednesday.

French nuclear availability was unchanged at 82% of available capacity. POWER/FR

Power consumption in Germany is forecast to fall 710 megawatts (MW) on Monday to 59.3 GW, while demand in France is projected to edge up 630 megawatts (MW) to 58.6 GW.

German 2025 baseload TRDEBYZ5 fell 0.3% to 94.25 euros/MWh, while the equivalent French position TRFRBYZ5 had a bid-ask range between 74.10 and 82.70 euros/MWh.

European CO2 allowances for December 2024 expiry CFI2Zc1 fell 1.8% to 67.05 euros a metric ton.
