LONDON, Aug 21 (Reuters) -Northwest European gasoline refining margins lost 54 cents to about $10.54 a barrel on Wednesday, even as U.S. gasoline inventories fell last week according to Energy Information Administration data.

  • A total of 12,000 metric tons of Eurobob E10 barges traded in the Argus window, with Vitol, Gunvor and Shell selling to BP, Varo and Vitol.

  • About 7,800 tons of Eurobob E5 traded, which Trafigura sold to BP, ExxonMobil and Garant ST.

  • U.S. gasoline stocks USOILG=ECI fell by 1.6 million barrels in the week to 220.6 million barrels, the EIA said, compared with analysts' expectations in a Reuters poll for a 0.9 million-barrel draw.

  • U.S. Gulf Coast gasoline inventories fell by nearly 988,000 barrels to 79.1 million barrels in the week ended Aug. 16, the lowest seasonal level since 2019, according to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

  • Stocks on the Atlantic coast fell by 1.1%, breaking a three-week run of stockbuilds. Rising stocks on the Atlantic coast could be impacting European exports, according to Jorge Molinero of Sparta Commodities.

  • "The decline in gas-naphtha continues to damage blending margins, and east coast inventories do not forecast large volumes to New York Harbor in the short term," he said.

  • EU and UK gasoline exports to all destinations have reached 1.23 million barrels per day (bpd) so far this month, just up from July's 1.18 million bpd, Kpler data showed.

  • Russian energy giant Rosneft ROSN.MM has resumed loadings of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from its Rospan unit following disruption caused by a fire last month, two industry sources told Reuters on Wednesday and commodity exchange data showed.
