Disconnected power unit at Russia's nuclear plant back to work, operator says
July 17 (Reuters) -A power unit at a nuclear power plant in the southern Russian Rostov region was disconnected on Tuesday due to a false alarm and has since been reconnected to the network, the operator said.
"Power unit No. 1 of the Rostov NPP (nuclear power plant) was reconnected to the network and has started providing electricity," Rosenergoatom, the operations subsidiary of Russia's state nuclear energy company Rosatom said on the Telegram messaging app.
The company said the unit was disconnected due to a "false alarm."
