CHICAGO, Aug 15 (Reuters) -Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) at 8:30 a.m. CDT (1330 GMT) on Thursday.

WHEAT - Up 3 to 5 cents per bushel

* Traders said wheat futures got a boost after Russian forces attacked port infrastructure in Ukraine's southern city of Odesa. Ukraine is a major wheat and corn exporter.

* The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported net 2024-25 U.S. wheat export sales were 399,900 metric tons in the week ended Aug. 8. Analysts expected 200,000-500,000 metric tons.

* CBOT September soft red winter wheat WU24 was last up 3 cents at $5.37-3/4 per bushel. K.C. September hard red winter wheat KWU24 was last up 3-1/4 cents at $5.49-1/2 per bushel, and MGEX September spring wheat MWEU24 was last up 2-3/4 cents at $5.94-3/4 per bushel.

CORN - Steady

* CBOT corn Cv1 stabilizes as the market had become oversold, analysts said.

* Traders have digested a record U.S. yield estimate issued Monday by the USDA, a broker said. Large supplies and largely favorable U.S. crop weather continue to hang over corn and soy futures, though.

* USDA reported weekly net U.S. corn export sales of 800,500 metric tons for 2024-25, slightly above analysts' estimates for 150,000-800,000 metric tons.

* CBOT December corn CZ24 was last down 1/2 cent at $4.00-1/4 per bushel.

SOYBEANS - Up 1 to 3 cents

* CBOT soybeans Sv1 rose overnight on bargain buying and short covering after a steep fall to four-year lows this week, analysts said.

* USDA reported net weekly U.S. soybean export sales of 1,344,200 metric tons for 2024-25, topping analysts' expectations for 400,000-1,000,000 metric tons.

* Forecasts for a record U.S. soybean harvest and large 2024-25 ending stocks limit gains.

* The U.S. soybean crush likely rose in July to the highest ever for the seventh month of the year, analysts said ahead of a monthly National Oilseed Processors Association report due on Thursday.

* CBOT November soybeans SX24 were last 1-1/2 cents higher at $9.70 per bushel.
