Nov 20 (Reuters) -Following are U.S. expectations for the resumption of grain and soy complex trading at the Chicago Board of Trade at 8:30 a.m. CST (1430 GMT) on Wednesday:

WHEAT - Down 1 to 2 cents per bushel

* Wheat futures eased on Wednesday, moving back from a one-week high as fears about escalation in the war between Ukraine and Russia receded, while a rebound in the dollar underscored export competition.

* Russian and Ukrainian wheat exports remained brisk and the arrival of southern hemisphere crops was expected to maintain stiff competition in wheat export markets.

* CBOT December soft red winter wheat WZ24 was last down 2 cents to $5.47-3/4 per bushel. K.C. December hard red winter wheat KWZ24 was down 1/2 cent at $5.57-3/4 a bushel and Minneapolis December spring wheat MWEZ24 was last down 1/4 cent at $5.86-1/2 a bushel.

CORN - Down 2 to 3 cents per bushel

* Corn futures faltered under pressure from the U.S. dollar that has lingered near a one-year high, which makes U.S. grains more expensive overseas.

* CBOT December corn CZ24 last traded down 2 cents at $4.25-1/4 per bushel.

SOYBEANS - Down 7 to 8 cents per bushel

* Soybean futures down, with continued pressure from favorable crop conditions in South America and a stronger dollar, while concerns about Donald Trump's second term as president loomed.

* Chinese soybean imports from the U.S. marked a seventh month of growth in October, as buyers accelerated shipments fearing trade tensions.

* But U.S. export prospects are seen as uncertain given Brazil's expanding trade with China and the possibility President-elect Trump will target China with fresh tariffs when he returns to the White House in January.

* Exporters sold 202,000 metric tons of soybeans to China and 226,200 tons of soybeans to unknown destinations for 2024/2025 delivery, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in a daily reporting system.

* January soybeans SF25 were last down 8-3/4 cents at $9.89-3/4 per bushel.
