US Cash Grains-Corn basis bids steady to higher as futures weaken
Nov 25 (Reuters) -Basis bids for corn were mostly steady to higher in the U.S. Midwest on Monday as futures fell and the Thanksgiving holiday approached.
* The corn basis rose by 5 cents at a processor in the Chicago, Illinois area and an elevator in Blair, Nebraska.
* It rose by 3 cents at a river terminal in Davenport, Iowa.
* One exception was the river terminal in Toledo, Ohio, where the basis retreated by 6 cents.
* The soy basis rose at processors in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Des Moines, Iowa.
* Most-active December corn CZ24 settled down 3/4 cent at $4.24-3/4 per bushel.
* CBOT January soybeans SF25 settled up 2-1/4 cents at $9.85-3/4 a bushel.
