Nov 14 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.01%.


* BURBERRY: Burberry's new CEO Joshua Schulman announced a turnaround strategy for the struggling British luxury brand on Thursday, as sales continued to slide and the company reported a loss for the first half of its financial year.

* B&M: British discount retailer B&M BMEB.L said it was "well positioned" for the key Christmas quarter as it reported a 2% rise in first-half core earnings, with trading on an improving trajectory.

* AVIVA: British insurer Aviva AV.L posted a 15% rise in general insurance gross written premiums for the first nine months of the year to 9.1 billion pounds ($11.54 billion) on Thursday and said it was confident of meeting its group targets.

* UNITED UTILITIES: United Utilities UU.L, which supplies water to northwest England, said it expects full-year revenue to increase by about 10% after it reported a more than two-fold rise in first-half profit, supported by pricier consumer bills.

* PREMIER FOODS: Britain's Premier Foods PFD.L reported a 4.6% rise in half-year revenue, driven by continued growth in its grocery business and brands such as Mr Kipling, Nissin and The Spice Tailor.

* RYANAIR: Italy's antitrust authority (AGCM) said that low-cost airline Ryanair RYA.I has committed to refund more than 1.5 million euros ($1.5 million) to customers who incurred in extra costs for check in.

* OIL: Oil prices slipped in early trade, reversing most of the previous session's gains.

* METALS: Copper prices extended declines to hit two-month lows.

* EX-DIVS: Shell SHEL.L, Bunzl BNZL.L and Sainsbury's SBRY.L will trade without entitlement to their latest dividend pay-out on Thursday.
