UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Nov 12

Nov 12 -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.4%.
* ASTRAZENECA: Drugmaker AstraZenecaAZN.L lifted its annual sales and profit forecast for the second time in less than four months, helped by resilient demand for its cancer and rare diseases medicines, after third-quarter results beat estimates.
* METRO BANK: Britain's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has fined Metro BankMTRO.L 16 million pounds ($20.51 million), for failings in its anti-money laundering controls between June 2016 and December 2020.
* ASTRAZENECA: AstrazenecaAZN.L said it wasinvesting $3.5 billion in the United States to expand its research and development and manufacturing by the end of 2026.
* VODAFONE: Mobile operator VodafoneVOD.L said it wason track to meet its full-year forecasts despite losing customers in Germany, its biggest market.
* BAE: Britain's BAE SystemsBAES.L said it was confident ofmeeting annual guidance to grow earnings by 12% to 14% this year.
* SHELL: Oil and gas company ShellSHEL.L won its appeal against a landmark climateruling in the Netherlands, which in 2021 ordered the oil and gas company to sharply reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
* DCC: British sales and marketing services provider DCCDCC.L said it willfocus on the energy sector and has begun preparations for the sale of its healthcare unit.
* DRAX: British power generator DraxDRX.L said it expects 2024 core earnings to be at around thetop end of analysts' consensus of between 993 million pounds to 1.04 billion pounds.
* FRESNILLO: Mexico-focused miner FresnilloFRES.L said that the Sabinas mine, fully owned by PenolesPEOLES.MX, was experiencing operationaldifficulties affecting silver production.
