UK Stocks-Factors to watch on Nov 12
Nov 12 -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Tuesday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.23%.
* ABRDN: Britain's Abrdn ABDN.L is selling its Focus Solutions software business, as the asset manager's new CEO Jason Windsor looks to show he can deliver changes fast to improve the company's performance.
* M&A: Private equity firms expect an increase in deal activity in 2025, with 84% of the respondents of a survey expecting to execute at least five to 10 deals in 2025, according to a Deutsche Numis survey among private equity firms.
* OIL: Oil prices were little changed in early trading, awaiting further price direction from OPEC's monthly report after China's stimulus plan and oversupply concerns took the wind out of markets in prior sessions.
* METALS: Copper prices fell tracking a stronger U.S. dollar and lacklustre demand in top metals consumer China.
* FTSE: Britain's main stock indexes rose on Monday, joining a broad rally in European markets, as investors awaited key economic data this week for clues on the path of U.S. and British monetary policy.
