Aug 19 (Reuters) -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Monday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.4%.


* PLUS500: Online trading platform Plus500PLUSP.L expects its annual results to beabove the market view and also recorded a 13% jump in new customers in the first half of the year.

* BARRATT: British homebuilder BarrattBDEV.L said it hadwaived the competition regulator's concern for its 2.52 billion pounds ($3.27 billion) deal to buy RedrowRDW.L.

* PROPERTY: British estate agents have seen a pick-up in demand from buyers since the Bank of England's Aug. 1 decision to cut interest rates from a 16-year high, property website Rightmove said.

* STRIKES: Hundreds of border force staff at Britain's biggest airport, Heathrow, will strike from Aug. 31 to Sept.3 - a peak travel period for thousands of holidaymakers.

* OIL: Oil prices eased in early Asian trading as fears of weaker demand in top oil importer China weighed on market sentiment while investors focussed on the progress of ceasefire talks in the Middle East, which could reduce supply risks.

* METALS: Copper prices opened this week on ahigher note, as fears of a U.S. recession faded following a batch of strong data last week and signs of improving demand in top consumer China.
