UK Stocks-Factors to watch on April 25
April 25 -Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening lower on Thursday, with futures FFIc1 down 0.06%.
* ANGLO AMERICA: Anglo American AAL.L said it had received an all-share buyout proposal from BHP Group BHP.AX, a deal that would create the world's biggest copper miner churning out around 10% of global output.
* MAREX: British commodities platform Marex Group MRX.L set the pricing of its U.S. initial public offering at $19 per share aiming to raise around $292 million.
* CAR OUTPUT: Britain's car production fell 27.1% year-on-year in March as manufacturers wound down existing models and more plants transitioned to electric vehicle production, data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed.
* INSURERS: The Association of British Insurers told its members to keep monthly charges for motor insurance "reasonable" following complaints about a sharp rise in premiums.
* OIL: Oil prices eased in early trade as concerns about a potential slowdown in the U.S. economy amid prospects for delayed interest rate cuts outweighed worries over the risk of expanding conflict in the Middle East.
* METALS: Copper prices edged higher as the metals market saw an extended inflow of money through investment funds, while a forecast of potential deficit in the refined copper market this year also lent support.
* EX-DIVS: Legal& General LGEN.L, Spirax-Sarco SPX.L, ConvaTec CTEC.L and Rightmove RMV.L will trade without entitlement to their latest dividend payouts.
* FTSE: Britain's FTSE 100 index ended lower on Wednesday, reversing earlier gains, as a downbeat update from chemicals group Croda and losses in luxury retailer Burberry weighed, though a jump in metals miners kept losses limited.
