Turkey - Factors To Watch on Nov 12
ISTANBUL, Nov 12 (Reuters) -Here are news, reports and events that may affect Turkish financial markets on Tuesday.
The lira TRYTOM=D3 was quoted at 34.3645 against the U.S. dollar, after closing on Monday at 34.3500.
The main BIST 100 share index .XU100 closed 1.00% higher at 9,276.78 points on Monday.
GLOBAL MARKETS
Asian stocks eased while the dollar held at four-month highs on Tuesday, though all the excitement was centred on bitcoin as it soared to a record peak underpinned by investor bets on assets that are likely to benefit from Donald Trump's election win.
ERDOGAN PROGRAMME
President Tayyip Erdogan will attend COP29 climate summit in Baku.
TRANSPORT MINISTER
Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu will attend the opening ceremony of Al In The Sky event in Antalya province. (0700 GMT)
BUDGET COMMISSION
Parliament's planning and budget commission will start debating the Trade Ministry budget.(0700 GMT)
PARLIAMENT'S GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Parliament's general assembly will debate a bill on judicial regulations.(1200 GMT)
PARLIAMENTARY GROUP MEETINGS
The main opposition CHP (1030 GMT), the nationalist MHP (0745 GMT) and pro-Kurdish DEM Party (0945 GMT) will hold their parliamentary group meetings.
TREASURY
The Treasury will reissue 5-year fixed coupon bonds, maturing on Sept 12, 2029.
CENBANK DATA
