Oct 23 (Reuters) -Textron TXT.N named insider David Rosenberg as its new chief financial officer on Wednesday, succeeding company veteran Frank Connor, who plans to retire in 2025.

Rosenberg, who is vice president of investor relations, will take over the role at the Cessana jet maker from March 1, 2025, the company said.

Prior to that, Rosenberg was the senior VP & CFO of Textron Aviation since 2018.

Rosenberg takes over from Connor, who was appointed CFO in 2009.

"With his extensive background in financial management, including his leadership of the finance organization at Textron Aviation, and his deep understanding of our business, he is the ideal leader to step into this role," Scott Donnelly, Textron chairman and CEO said.
