** Analysts say ASML's ASML.AS 2025 outlook cut will lead to consensus downgrades and casts doubt over sector growth

** The ASML shares fall for a second day straight after it forecast lower than expected 2025 sales and bookings due to sustained weakness in some parts of the semiconductor market

BROKERS FLAG UNCERTAINTY FOR 2025/26

** ING ("buy", PT:EUR 1,050) says it will take time for investors to regain trust in ASML, after it suddenly back-pedalled its earlier confidence for 2025

** Morgan Stanley ("equal-weight", PT:$800) and BofA ("buy", PT:EUR 870) note customer engagement seems to be suffering from push-outs and suggests China shipments may be set to slow down much earlier than expected

** However, Raymond James ("strong buy", PT: $1,100) says it believes 2025 guidance now largely de-risks China and that bookings have bottomed

** Citi ("buy", PT:EUR 1,150), KBC Securities ("accumulate", PT:EUR 760) and Bernstein ("outperform", PT:EUR 980) point to weakness in logic and memory markets, with the former showing a slower ramp up in new process nodes and the latter limiting capacity additions

** Degroof Petercam ("buy", PT cut to EUR 925 from EUR 1,050) says weak post-COVID demand has resulted in overcapacity, causing ASML's customers to hit the brakes

** Goldman Sachs ("buy", PT:EUR 1,185) and Stifel ("hold", PT:EUR 850) meanwhile highlights delayed timing for Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) equipment demand
