Scor plunges on life unit profit warning
** Shares in Scor SCOR.PA drop around 18% to April 2023 lows after the French reinsurer cut guidance for its life and health (L&H) unit
** The unit's Q2 insurance service result (ISR) is expected at a loss of about 0.4 bln euros and full-year ISR is seen significantly less than the 500 mln euros guided before, Scor says
** Scor now expects it is likely to miss its 9% group economic value growth target for 2024
** "With the potential material downside and likely large future earnings downgrades in L&H to come due to the reduction in CSM (contractual service margin), we remain cautious on the name," J.P.Morgan says in a note
** If losses hold, the stock will seeits worst day since July 2022; it is at the bottom of Europe-wide STOXX 600 .STOXX index
