Oct 14 (Reuters) -Poland's current account deficit amounted to 2.83 billion euros ($3.09 billion) in August, compared to a revised deficit of 1.12 billion euros in the previous month, central bank data showed on Monday.

Economists polled by Reuters had expected a deficit of 920 million euros in August.
