Naturgy to bet big on biomethane in new strategy, executive chairman says
MADRID, July 23 (Reuters) -Biomethane will play a key role in Naturgy's NTGY.MC strategic plans through the end of the decade, the Spanish gas company's executive chairman Francisco Reynes said on Tuesday.
"Renewable gases is our important bet and we are progressing on biomethane contracts in our development portfolio," he told analysts after the company released its first-half results.
"More visibility of this will come soon."
While declining to provide specific figures, Reynes said that the 2025-2030 strategic plan the company is working on will feature biomethane prominently.
