MOSCOW, July 11 (Reuters) -Urals crude differentials to dated Brent were steady on Thursday after rising on Wednesday, while India's state-run refiners are jointly negotiating a long-term oil import deal with Russia, a government source aware of the development said.

  • Indian private refiners may join the negotiations with their state-run peers later, the source said.

PLATTS WINDOW

  • No bids or offers were made for Urals, CPC Blend or Azeri BTC crude in the Platts window on Thursday.

NEWS

  • Oil production at Azerbaijan's Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli fields operated by BP fell to 8.2 million metric tons in January to June from 9.1 million tons in the same period last year, the Azeri energy ministry said on Thursday.

  • Russia's state-owned Rostec corporation said on Thursday it had successfully conducted trials of armoured plating designed to protect critical infrastructure from drone attacks, grenades and bullets.
