JPMORGAN EXPECTS $5-$15 BLN IN OUTFLOWS FROM EMERGING MARKET DEDICATED BOND FUNDS IN 2025
LONDON, Nov 26 (Reuters) -Emerging markets are in for a tough and uncertain year, JPMorgan said in its annual outlook, due to policy shifts in the United States and uncertain growth in China.
"EM growth faces significant uncertainty in 2025, caught between two giants - China and the US – with policy changes in the latter potentially delivering a large negative supply shock that will have spillovers across EM," JPMorgan said in a outlook published on Tuesday.
As a result, the bank said its base case sees growth slowing to 3.4% in 2025, from 4.1% this year.
It also expects outflows of between $5-$15 billion from emerging market dedicated bond funds.
