ECONOMY
Italy's public debt will only start falling as a proportion of economic output from 2027 despite a more positive trend in addressing its significant budget deficit, the Treasury said in its multi-year fiscal plan published on Saturday.
Bank of Italy said on Friday it had confirmed its countercyclical capital buffer (CCyB) for the country's lender at zero for the last quarter of the year, adding it was appropriate to the current macro-financial environment.
ISTAT releases August non-EU foreign trade data (0800 GMT) and September CPI flash data (0900 GMT).

STELLANTIS STLAM.MI
(*) The car maker revised on Monday its guidance downward, citing a deterioration in global industry dynamics and Chinese competition on electric vehicles among other factors.
The United Auto Workers (UAW) union asked the workers at Stellantis to authorize a strike, accusing the French-Italian automaker of breaking its contract promises, UAW President Shawn Fain said in a letter to the union's U.S. chapters on Friday.

The Italian bank plans to invest significantly to retrain 600 staff who will then be largely moved to the Italian bank's branch network as CEO Andrea Orcel slims down the central offices and powers the sales force, two sources said on Friday.
CEO Andrea Orcel attended a virtual meeting held on Friday with Commerzbank's CBKG.DE designated CEO Bettina Orlopp, a source with knowledge of the matter told Reuters, confirming earlier Italian newspaper reports.
A takeover of Commerzbank by UniCredit has more advantages than disadvantages, Lars Feld, an adviser to German Finance Minister Christian Lindner, said in an interview with Il Sole 24 Ore published on Sunday.
POSTE ITALIANE PST.MI
Italy's Treasury said on Friday it had picked UBS Europe and White & Case Europe as financial and legal advisers for the stake sale of around 14% stake in postal service Poste Italiane.
TELECOM ITALIA TLIT.MI, MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE MFEB.MI
French group Vivendi VIV.PA has pledged the shares it holds in Tim and MFE-MediaForEurope to guarantee a 2 billion euros loan signed with five banks to repay its bondholders should the French group's demerger project go ahead.
A source close to the group said on Saturday that ownership of the shares remains with Vivendi and that it will continue to have full disposal of them: it retains voting rights and the agreements do not prejudge any sales.

The asset manager said on Monday it had entered a strategic partnership with Oaktree Capital Management to further accelerate the expansion of its Australian subsidiary AZ NGA. Under the biding agreement, the funds managed by Oaktree will invest 240 Australian dollars ($166.27) to buy a stake in AZ NGA's financial advisory and accounting network from Azimut and local shareholders, valuing the company at a total enterprise value of A$6901 million.

The luxury group said on Monday it had signed a lease agreement for a new flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, scheduled to open in early 2026, in a move that "mirrors Moncler's commitment to the US market".
RAI WAY RWAY.MI, MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE MFEB.MI
Italian state broadcaster Rai and Italian infrastructure fund F2i could soon sign a memorandum of understanding on the possible merger of their respective broadcasting tower units Rai Way and EI Towers, Corriere della Sera reported on Sunday. F2i controls 60% of EI Towers, with the remaining 40% in the hands of the Berlusconi family media company MFE-MediaForEurope.

Barclays said on Monday it had cut the rating to "Underweight" from "Equalweight"
JUVENTUS FC JUVE.MI
The club forecast another year in the red as it reported on Friday a 199.2 million euro loss for the 12 months through June, though it said it would break even at the operating level in the current financial year.
The club returned to top of the Serie A standings after a 3-0 win at Genoa on Saturday.
SS LAZIO LAZI.MI
The Rome-based "biancocelesti" won 3-2 away at Torino on Sunday.

Healthcare sector company debuts on Euronext Growth Milan.
