ISTAT releases Q3 GDP preliminary data (0900 GMT) and September producer prices data (1000 GMT).

Treasury sells up to 9.0 billion euros over three different bonds. Subscriptions close at 1000 GMT.

The energy group has not suffered any breach of its computer systems, a spokesman said on Tuesday after Italian police unveiled an investigation into illegal access to state databases to get confidential information on companies and individuals.

The Treasury has decided to sell a further 10% stake in Monte dei Paschi through a market placement, to be held after the lender's earnings on Nov.8, daily Corriere della Sera reported on Wednesday. By further cutting its 26.7% stake, Rome expects to raise some 640 million euros, the report added.

An Italian parliamentary committee approved on Tuesday a government plan worth some 8.2 billion euros ($8.86 billion) to buy new-generation tanks and revamp the army's ground forces, two sources close to the matter said.

The Italian spirits maker missed forecasts on Tuesday with an 18.2% drop in third-quarter operating profit, and warned its fourth-quarter results would be hit by lower production volume and an unfavourable sales mix.
The company said in a subsequent conference call with analysts that its global priority brands are not for sale.

Revenues at the Italian luxury outerwear maker fell 3% at constant exchange rates in the third quarter, slightly more than analysts had anticipated, with weakness spread across all its main markets.
