The lender on Wednesday said it would launch a buyout offer to gain full control of asset manager Anima Holding ANIM.MI in an up to 1.6 billion euro ($1.7 billion) deal.

Italy's third-largest bank said on Wednesday it could beat its 2024 earning per share (EPS) guidance after posting a 79.8% rise in nine-month net profit from a year earlier.

Italy's biggest utility said on Wednesday its nine-month core profit rose 6.5% year on year, on the back of strong renewable power production, which more than compensated a fall in retail energy prices in its home country.

PIRELLI PECI.MI

The company said on Wednesday that Italy's Prime Minister's Office opened an administrative procedure against its largest shareholder, China's Sinochem, for a possible breach of provisions Rome imposed to shield the tyremaker's autonomy.


TERNA TRN.MI

The power grid operator said on Wednesday it had reached a deal with utility Acea ACE.MI to buy part of the high-voltage network in the Rime area, in a move aimed at improving the electricity transmission service.

The lender said on Wednesday it exceeded the minimum requirement for own funds and eligible liabilities (MREL) requirements.
