The Italian bank raised its profit outlook on Wednesday and said it would start paying out half of its net income to investors in cash from next year, after posting a higher-than-expected net profit for the third quarter.

The lender also said it had sped up the reduction of its Russia exposure in the third quarter, after turning to the European Court of Justice at the end of June to challenge supervisory demands over the pace of its disengagement from the sanctions-hit country.

The president of Unicredit's leading shareholder, banking foundation, Fondazione CRT, is in favour of the bank's move on Commerzbank, its president Anna Maria Poggi told daily Il Sole 24 Ore on Wednesday.

FERRARI RACE.MI

Core earnings rose 7% in the third quarter despite a small and calculated dip in car shipments aimed at facilitating an internal software transition.

However, Milan-listed shares in the company closed down by 7% on Tuesday, after Ferrari confirmed, rather than raise, the full-year forecasts it had provided in August.

INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI

Italy's data protection authority said on Tuesday Intesa Sanpaolo ISP.MI had underestimated the seriousness of a data breach incident involving thousands of customers, widely reported to include Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.


STELLANTIS STLAM.MI

CEO Carlos Tavares has failed to confirm previously announced electrification plans for Maserati, Italian trade unionists said after meeting him on Tuesday, adding to concern about the loss-making luxury brand.


TELECOM ITALIA TLIT.MI

Telecom Italia CEO Pietro Labriola said in an interview with Blooomberg that he is committed to the phone carrier's turnaround plan, dismissing reports that he could resign.


DIASORIN DIAS.MI

The Italian medical diagnostics group DiaSorin on Tuesday posted a 6% jump in nine-month adjusted core profit to 292 million euros ($318.46 million) at constant exchange rates, and slightly lifted its 2024 revenue guidance.


POPOLARE SONDRIO BPSI.MI

(*) The Italian regional lender raised its net interest income(NII) for 2024 on Tuesday, after strong third-quarter results.


FINECOBANK FBK.MI

The bank on Tuesday forecast record revenues for this year and pledged to return a higher dividend per share on its 2024 results, as the online bank and brokerage expects higher commissions to boost its full-year performance.


INWIT INWT.MI

Italy's biggest mobile telecoms towers company on Tuesday forecast its full-year revenue at 1.03 billion euros ($1.12 billion), in the lower part of its previous guidance due to strong competition in the Italian market.

The Italian defence group said on Tuesday it signed a framework agreement with Irish-based helicopter finance company GDHF for the additional supply of 10 AW198 offshore helicopters during the 2027-2029 period.

The cable maker said on Tuesday it has been awarded significant batches of a three-year agreement for the supply of high voltage and extra high voltage underground cables for French electricity grid operator RTE.
